Working at Abita Roasting allowed me to learn how to work well on a team, to be a leader for the staff and an image for how employees should treat each other and the customers of the facility. I learned how to run a shift properly and how to manage a team of people, how to encourage staff members to keep going after a difficult task, how to do inventory, make a schedule, and grow within a company. The workplace culture was "all hands in all hands out", meaning that we have to work together as a team to be the most efficient and positive experience for the consumer.
