- Act as a liaison between client and store to ensure a successful catering order for the client.
- Negotiate prices and arrangements with clients; create catering order forms; and secure clients' signatures and payment methods.
- Responsible for accurately ringing in all catering orders into the POS.
- Assist restaurant teams in identifying community marketing events that will help drive sales and brand awareness.
- Effectively use marketing strategies to increase community outreach programs for schools, churches, and other local community events.
- Ensuring all hotels are properly equipped with marketing materials and menus.
- Finding contacts in key hotels to gauge occupancies and tourist forecast.
- Meet new hotel employees daily and get them excited for hospitality discounts to be used in and out of the store.
- Proactively solicit new business leads and opportunities by conducting effective sales calls, conversations, and emails.
- Communicate and coordinate with the Director of Sales & Marketing, Director of Operations, General Managers, and VP of Operations of upcoming marketing events. There is a clear line of expectations for each marketing event.
- Maintain and develop new relationships to secure preferred vendor status with local businesses and hotels by distributing marketing materials for all locations.
- Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities such as social media, direct mail, and web.
- Participate in the weekly corporate meeting to communicate any upcoming events and community feedback to the team.
