Facilities Technician

Easy Tiger, one of Austin’s most beloved brands, is currently seeking a part-time Facilities Technician to join our team!

The Facilities Technician is a key member of the Restaurant Team and is responsible for performing a variety of work including the maintenance and repair of the buildings, equipment and grounds.

Reports to: General Manager

Salary/Grade Level: Hourly / Non-Exempt

Essential Functions:

Inspects assigned areas on a routine basis and performs maintenance where necessary to keep facilities in functioning and serviceable condition
Perform or assists with special projects at each location
Performs or assists with general cleaning projects for equipment and general custodial maintenance
Perform or assist with painting projects as needed
Reports any major maintenance needs and recommends corrective action as appropriate. (This includes HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
Other duties and tasks as assigned by General Manager

Qualifications:

1 year previous maintenance experience preferred
Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of 50+ lbs
Requires occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
Ability to work standing for 8+ hours
