Orchard Events & Catering provides full-service event planning and catering. With more than 30 years of experience in planning, managing, and executing events, the team is ready to take care of every detail of your wedding or special occasion. The catering team offers a unique menu with delicacies from local suppliers and homegrown ingredients. Events are hosted at one of several unique spaces on site at the The Orchard Phoenix.

Deeply rooted in the Phoenix community, The Orchard Phoenix property shares space with Luci’s at the Orchard and Luci’s Tavern (formerly Pomelo). Nestled off the beaten path, this warm, restored historic adobe built in the 1920s was one of the first citrus farms in Phoenix. The citrus trees that still grow on the property inspire many of our menu items. Our landmark water tower honors the canal that irrigated central Phoenix farms and still runs behind Luci’s at the Orchard.

Just like Arizona, this Luci’s property was built on the five Cs… copper, cattle, cotton, citrus, and climate. The venue boasts lush landscaping that integrates the citrus farm with Arizona’s beautiful desert. Its historic charm provides a familiar and inviting setting for all your special occasions.

We are looking for upbeat, attentive catering bartenders and servers going into our busier season. The job will be part time, hours will depend on what is scheduled for the week/weekends. If you are looking for full time employment, we also have our full-service concept called The Orchard Tavern we are looking for servers and bartenders to hire for the upcoming season as well.

Duties:

- Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and timely manner
- Set up and break down catering events, including tables, chairs, linens, and decorations
- Ensure that all food items are properly labeled and stored according to health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including kitchen and dining areas
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guests' needs and concerns promptly and courteously
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth execution of events

Requirements:

- Previous experience in catering serving or restaurant serving
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safe food handling practices
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in food presentation and service
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
