Servers are a vital part of customer service in the restaurant industry. They must be courteous, friendly and always willing to help customers in everything they need. The waiter's job includes taking food and drink orders, serving them, and making sure customers have a pleasant and satisfying experience during their visit to the restaurant.

Work tasks:
- Greet customers and serve them when they are already assigned to a table.
- Provide the menu and inform about dishes, specials and promotions to customers.
- Take food and drink orders from customers.
- Ensure that orders are prepared correctly and served on time.
- Resolve any issues customers may have with your food or service.
- Provide recommendations on specialty dishes, wines, and other menu items.
- Clean and prepare tables for new customers.
- Handle payments and transactions accurately and effectively.
- Always keep the dining area clean and organized.
- Collaborate with other team members, including cooks and other servers, to ensure a high-quality experience for customers.
Main Responsibilities, Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Speed and efficiency- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure, performing their job effectively.
- Initiative- Provide recommendations to customers and best service practices to their supervisor.
- Companionship- Ability to work as a team and collaborate with other restaurant staff members.
- Flexibility- to work rotating schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays.
- Customer service: Seek customer satisfaction both in the products requested and in effective communication. It is important that the waiter has previous experience in customer service, preferably in a restaurant setting.
- Cleaning: Keep the living room area clean and assist the team in general (prepare tables, shine cutlery, among others).
- Communication: Excellent ability to speak and listen. Effective communication with clients and work team.
- Interpersonal relationships: You must adapt to the different personalities of customers, suppliers and co-workers without losing focus.
- Sales techniques and customer influence: You must understand products and services, develop new perspectives of sales opportunities, and clearly understand customer needs.
- Performing general physical activities: Occasionally you must perform physical activities in a variety of environmental conditions that require moderate to maximum strength, such as lifting, walking, and handling materials.
- Technology- Basic knowledge in collection systems.
- Diplomacy- Empathy and courtesy in dealing with customers.
- Image- Neat and discreet (good personal hygiene habits) and uniformed at all times.
- Organization- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at the same time.
- Integrity- Oriented to work in accordance with the Manual of Personnel Standards and conduct of the company.

- Good presentation
- Be orderly with work and environment.
- Basic math skills.
- Know how to handle several processes at the same time and work under pressure.
- Apply the internal regulations according to the situations that merit it.
