JTR Mission Statement:

Summary of Position:

Market employees must greet guests as they enter and must interact and engage with our guests with the express goal of selling food while providing exceptional service. Market employees must be able to take accurate and complete orders from guests in person and over the phone while handling multiple tasks simultaneously. Phone etiquette and general friendliness are required, as well as a genuine enjoyment of interacting with people.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Follow all JTR Group policies and procedures
Must be able to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
Must be able to stand for several hours and walk for long periods of time
Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various heights
Must be able to go up & down stairs
Knowledgeable in Isla's/Connor's products sold
Must be able obtain Tulsa County Food Handlers Permit & Oklahoma Able Liquor license
Must be friendly, personable, informative, professional, and alert to guests’ needs
Responsible for ensuring market items are prepped and stocked
Welcome patrons, assist patrons from entry to check out as needed and help ensure the quality of facilities, products, and service
Loading and unloading food items of different varieties
Work closely with production and prep in the market itself
Dealing directly with customers daily and providing superior customer service
Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues to Manager pm Duty
Complete all side work tasks prescribed by Manager on Duty

Qualifications:

Be 18 years of age or older
Be able to communicate respectfully and honestly with others, including all staff
Have knowledge of service, food, and beverage with at least 1 year of experience in front of house operations (or 1 year of customer service experience)
Be able to do basic math calculations
Have the ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time, up to 5 hours
