Properly wash and store all plates, trays, eating utensils, cups, and small BOH equipment. Keeps the dishwasher and dishwasher hygienically and efficiently.
Job Tasks
Essential Function Statement(s)
• Wash and store all plates, trays, utensils, cups, and small equipment in the appropriate locations for the BOH.
• Keeps the dish area clean and disinfected.
• Check the machine to make sure it is working properly and report any defects immediately.
• Change the water every 2 hours in the dishwasher.
• Check the water temperature during dishwasher operation to ensure the right temperature.
• Change the disinfectant buckets every 4 hours.
• Proper installation and use of the 3-base sink for heavily soiled items.
• Understands the use of each chemical and the proper ratio.
• Remove all trash from the dish area and place it in the trash bin.
• Clean and disinfect trash cans and reline all trash cans.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the parking lot.
• Adheres to backdoor security policies at all times.
• Communicates with the kitchen about their needs.
• Disassemble and properly clean the dishwasher and dish area at the end of the shift.
This includes polishing, removing paper, and hosing down the inside.
• The ability to have fun at work.

Compensation starting at $12.00/hour.
