Come join our team! The Big Chill 30A is hiring for a RECEIVER. The Receiver will receive, inspect and stock incoming food and paper goods shipments. You will be responsible for unloading packages and checking their contents to ensure they match the order(s) and have been delivered at proper temperature and quality standards.
A Receiver must have a great eye for detail and basic math skills. They must also have adequate physical strength to unload goods as well as organizational skills to ensure proper storage.

7a-3p 5 days a week
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with management team to list expected deliveries
- Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
- Unload packages from incoming trucks
- Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged/delivered at proper temperature controls
- Verify packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)
- Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
- Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as receiving clerk or similar position
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
- Basic math and recording abilities
- Excellent organizational skills
- Great communication and interpersonal abilities
- Keen eye for detail
- Good physical condition
- Ability to work with general autonomy while maintaining a consistent schedule
