- Assist in coordinating catering events from initial booking through execution
- Support communication between clients, kitchen staff, vendors, and delivery teams
- Help prepare event schedules, setup plans, and staffing requirements
- Track inventory of food, beverages, and catering supplies; report shortages
- Assist with packing, loading, and organizing equipment for events
- Provide on-site support during events (setup, service coordination, breakdown)
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Handle administrative tasks such as order entry, invoicing support, and record keeping
- Address last-minute changes or issues quickly and professionally
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s preferred in hospitality or related field)
- Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or event coordination is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computer skills (e.g., email, spreadsheets, scheduling tools)
- Ability to lift and move equipment (often up to 30–50 lbs)
