- Escort guests to table and provide menus.
- Manage wait list and provide accurate wait times (if applicable).
- Correctly assign tables to servers.
- Coordinate and control the seating of the dining room.
- Collaborate with servers, bussers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain an organized and tidy host/hostess station.
- Be ready and willing to assist serves as situations arise.
- Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions.
- Perform side work during down time, such as cleaning menus, rolling silverware, etc.
- Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the USA.
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 6 hours).
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends.
