Job Title: Barback

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Barback to join our team. The Barback will assist the bartender in ensuring efficient bar operations by keeping the bar area clean, stocked, and organized, as well as assisting with the preparation of garnishes, cleaning glasses, and other tasks as needed. The ideal candidate will be able to anticipate the needs of the bartender and guests to ensure a positive experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist bartenders in the preparation and set-up of the bar area.
  2. Keep the bar stocked with liquor, ice, glassware, and supplies throughout the shift.
  3. Wash and polish glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.
  4. Clean and organize the bar area, including shelves and coolers.
  5. Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snacks for patrons.
  6. Ensure cleanliness and tidiness in the bar area by clearing empty glasses and trash.
  7. Assist in opening and closing duties, such as restocking supplies and cleaning work areas.
  8. Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with inquiries and drink orders as needed.
  9. Maintain a friendly and positive attitude towards customers and coworkers.
  10. Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol beverage control policies.
Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification in food handling and safety (e.g., ServSafe).
  • TABC Certified.
