FOOD RUNNER

801 Chophouse is currently seeking experienced and passionate, professional service personnel for the position of Server.   If you have a passion for service, commitment to uncompromising quality and strong attention to detail, then we want to talk to you! Previous service experience in an upscale restaurant is required.

The ideal candidate must be willing to learn, be highly motivated, and a true full-time restaurant professional who maintains a great attitude and has a true passion for fine service, food and wine. An advanced knowledge and terminology of beer, wine, and spirits is a must. Candidates for this position should have a strong sense of hospitality, excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented and have the ability to work as part of a team. Food Server Candidates must be at least 21 years old.

Job Description:

 Delivering food
  • Quickly and accurately deliver food orders to guests
Communicating with staff
  • Communicate with Culinary and Service Team to address special requests, dietary restrictions, and allergies. Communicate guest feedback and requests 
Maintaining cleanliness
  • Keep Expo line and raw bar clean and organized, and wash hands and use gloves when handling food 
Setting up and restocking
  • Set up Expo & Raw Bar with equipment and plate ware, keep stocked through the shift. Perform daily cleaning duties
Tracking orders
  • Read guest tickets, track cooking times, and check finished dishes for doneness and presentation
Garnishing
  • Garnish finished entrees according to the restaurant's specifications
Closing duties
  • Complete EXPO closing duties at the end of each shift. 
Multitask, work under pressure, and maintain a professional attitude. Physically able to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours. 
Compensation: $17.00 per hour
