Role Descriptions:

As a Line Cook, your main responsibilities will be to prepare our fresh daily hand cut chicken, breading it in our uniquely seasoned breading and frying it to perfection in our state-of-the-art fryers, manning our griddle plate where we toast our authentic Texas toasting bread, and grill our cheese and bacon for our famous club sandwiches. This job is so important that we gave it an Executive Title…CFO, Chicken Frying Officer.

As a Front Counter/Cashier your main responsibility will be to take care of our guests, greeting them and taking their orders, that's why you are called a COO, Chicken Ordering Officer. Each guest needs to feel as though they are attending a party that we are hosting for them. You will make sure they get their food in a timely manner, that they have the necessary condiments, beverages and anything else they need to make their visit to Layne's a special one. You will also be responsible for cleaning and keeping our brand new restaurant immaculate and making sure our guests can relax and eat their food in a clean and tidy environment.
