We are currently looking for highly energetic Host & Hostesses to join us here at the Local Goat, we are a scratch-made concept, and we are looking for team members who can appreciate the passion we have for that.  We are looking for exuberant personalities and amazing customer service skills.  Team mates applying must be able to work with a general phone system, with a general knowledge of how a restaurant runs.  We are a unique concept, with an amazing following and a lot of pride for what we do, so if you feel like you would like to join our team and be an ambassador for all we do and all we believe in then we would love for you to join us.

Essential functions of the position include:
  • Must be 18 years of age to apply.         
  • Maintain a cheerful, courteous disposition and a neat, clean and profession appearance. (You ARE the first impression of Local Goat!)
  • Greet all guests upon arrival and assists guests when on a waiting list.
  • Escorts guests, as soon as possible, to the appropriate table and informs the guests the server's name, presents menus and informs them of any relevant information. 
  • Maintains a digital waiting list and coordinates seating. 
  • Performs restroom checks every 30 minutes, maintains cleanliness, and restocks supplies as needed.
  • Answers phone within 2 rings and transfers calls or answers questions accordingly. 
  • Performs all opening, shift change, and closing duties. 
  • Keeps host/foyer area clean and organized. Ensures all menus are clean and sanitized.
  • Cleans, sanitizes, restocks, and stores host items and retail items according to procedures.
  • Maintains a favorable working condition with fellow employees and managers.
