Audit & Financial Statement Review:
- Conduct comprehensive audits of client financial statements to identify discrepancies, errors, and areas requiring correction.
- Work with client accounting teams to implement necessary adjustments and ensure compliance with GAAP or relevant accounting standards.
- Prepare clear audit findings and provide actionable recommendations to enhance financial reporting accuracy.

Restaurant365 (R365) Optimization:
- Ensure proper configuration and setup of the R365 database, including GL structure, vendor records, inventory modules, and payroll integrations.
- Identify inefficiencies in current R365 use and recommend workflow improvements.
- Collaborate with clients to implement R365 features effectively, including automation tools, reporting dashboards, and integrations.
- Migrate and reconcile historical financial data.

Client Onboarding & Training:
- Lead new client onboarding onto the R365 platform, ensuring proper financial setup and workflow alignment.
- Train client staff on best practices in accounting operations and system use within R365.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients, acting as a subject matter expert in both accounting and R365.

Process Improvement & Best Practices:
- Develop and maintain documentation of standardized procedures and accounting workflows.
- Advise clients on industry best practices, internal controls, and efficient financial operations.
- Stay current on updates to R365 features and accounting regulations, and incorporate them into client systems as appropriate.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
- 3+ years of accounting experience, with a strong background in financial audits or reports.
- Proven experience managing accounting projects and client engagements.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, balance sheets, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Expertise in Restaurant365 or similar accounting/ERP platforms (R365 experience strongly preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-accountants.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients and priorities.
- Experience working in or with restaurant or hospitality clients.
- Familiarity with multi-location financial consolidation and reporting.
- Knowledge of inventory and cost management within restaurant operations.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, POS systems, and inventory management.
- Familiarity with industry-specific metrics such as COGS, labor cost ratios, and prime cost .
