We are looking for a motivated Bar Back / Busser to join our team. You will contribute to an exceptional dining experience by cleaning tables, removing dirty dishes, replacing table linens, setting tables, and servicing items to guests such as water, coffee, and condiments.

At 26 West on the Navesink, we’re redefining the dining experience in Red Bank. Since 2017, we’ve set ourselves apart with our fresh approach, blending great service, exciting cocktails, and innovative Nantucket-style dishes—all in a stunning, bright, and clean space.

With two bars and three distinct dining areas, including a rooftop and private dining, we’re a vibrant operation with huge earning potential for those ready to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Deliver food to tables following seat numbers and table numbers
Wipe tables or seats with dampened cloths or replace dirty tablecloths
Set tables with clean linens, condiments, or other supplies
Scrape and stack dirty dishes and carry dishes and other tableware to kitchens for cleaning
Perform serving, cleaning, or stocking duties in establishments, such as cafeterias or dining rooms, to facilitate customer service

Qualifications:

Previous knowledge of food service regulations preferred
Skilled with the use of hand tools or machines needed for the position
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy
Able to stand for extended periods of time
Able to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks

26 West on the Navesink was opened in June of 2017 by The Milanos and Giffords to provide Red Bank with a fresh new dining experience that serves as a direct contrast from all the other dining options within the town of Red Bank. As of January 1, 2024, Dominick Rizzo joined the team as an owner and operator.

We focused on a bright and clean interior design complimented by great service; simple, yet exciting cocktails, and Nantucket style dishes with a twist. With two bars and three separate dining areas (main dining, rooftop, and private dining) we are a large operation with significant earning potential.

It is our goal to have all spaces filled with customers at all times and to provide them with the best experience possible. To do so we need a combination of the best staff, the best hospitality and service, the best food and drink, and the best entertainment.
