CREW LEAD - 604LOHA GRILL (PALMS RESORT AND CASINO)

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS
The Crew Lead is responsible for supporting the restaurant’s daily operations and ensuring that guest expectations are consistently met and exceeded. This position upholds company standards for food quality, safety, and service while assisting in leading and developing team members. Crew Lead are held accountable for proper opening and closing procedures, maintaining 604 Hospitality’s brand and operational standards at all times.
In addition to front-of-house and support staff responsibilities as a tipped employee (as permitted by management), the Crew Lead assists with product ordering, weekly inventory, and daily sales reports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform all duties of a cook, cashier, and server as needed.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of all menu items and accurately explain specials, ingredients, preparation methods, portion sizes, and potential substitutions.
  • Determine daily par levels and prepare accurate prep lists, maintaining an average of less than 2% waste.
  • Order food and beverage products in line with established par levels and budget allocations.
  • Ensure all menu items meet company quality standards 100% of the time.
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, and training new employees in restaurant service standards, safety, and sanitation practices.
  • Verify that all staff maintain current food handler and alcohol service certifications.
  • Assign and oversee daily and running side work to maintain efficient operations.
  • Monitor and uphold cleanliness standards across all areas, immediately addressing and reporting health or safety hazards.
  • Inspect storage areas for proper organization, cleanliness, and stock levels; direct corrective actions as necessary.
  • Assist with shift coverage and staffing adjustments to meet business needs.
  • Promptly and professionally resolve guest concerns in accordance with company policy.
  • Ensure staff attendance aligns with HR and scheduling procedures.
  • Accurately handle closing duties, complete daily reports, and follow company financial protocols.
  • Attend designated leadership or operational meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1–2 years of restaurant experience, preferably in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for guest satisfaction and team development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; enjoys working with guests and colleagues.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and motivated to maintain high standards in quality and cleanliness.
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations and understand standard units of measure.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, bend, and exert mobility throughout a full shift.
  • Strong hand coordination and dexterity for efficient food preparation.
  • Growth-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn, adapt, and share knowledge.
OTHER REQUIREMENTSPreferred: 
  • 18 years of age or older, due to equipment and safety requirements.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Food Handler’s Certification or equivalent.
  • Proficient in POS systems and basic computer applications.
  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Flexible availability, including opening, mid, and closing shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Compensation: $20.00 per hour
