Job Title: Prep Cook – Wormtown
Status: Full-time or part-time
Reports to: Kitchen Manager
Salary: $18/hour – $20/hour

JOB DESCRIPTION AND EXPECTATIONS
Wormtown Brewery's newly renovated taproom on Shrewsbury Street is launching an all-new cooking show, and we're looking for a Prep Cook to help make it happen!

This is an excellent opportunity to integrate yourself into a fun, fast-paced kitchen, and be part of something new from the start. As a Prep Cook, you'll support the daily preparation, keep the kitchen organized, and help the team have a smooth and successful service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and quality standards
  • Work efficiently and consistently during service
  • Comply with food safety, hygiene and cleanliness regulations
  • Prepare and disassemble workstations
  • Support with inventory, labeling, and FIFO rotation
  • Communicate clearly with leadership and kitchen team
  • Supporting the kitchen during periods of high demand
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • No previous experience is required — we train!
  • Strong work ethic and ability to stay focused during high-volume shifts.
  • Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to help where needed.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfort working in hot, fast-paced environments.
  • Availability for nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the taproom.
