The Pastry Cook: reports to the Pastry Chef and Executive Baker
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16 - $18.00 per hour
Typical shift: standard 8 hour day with start times varying between 4:00am-12:00pm or 6:00am-2:00pm
Goal is 2 consecutive days off, which days specifically can be negotiated
At least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) required
Crispelli’s Bakery is hiring a Pastry Cook for our growing brand. We are looking for a Pastry Cook who will work alongside 4 to 5 other team members in the department to produce cookies, cakes, quiche, croissants as well as other pastries and desserts for our bakery, our 6 retail locations and many wholesale customers. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is willing to learn, has attention to detail, and a focus for high quality. Students in culinary school are encouraged to apply.
Requirements: Strong pastry production background
Able to work efficiently when given a task
Detail oriented
Strong interpersonal skills
Self motivated, can perform tasks independently
Strong ability to follow directions and maintain Crispelli's standards
Accepts constructive coaching and enacts suggestions for overall team success

Primary Responsibilities: Scaling recipes
Mixing and scooping cookies
|Making mousse, fillings, frostings, etc.
Scooping and baking muffins
Assembling tarts, quiche, cakes, and other assorted pastries and desserts
Shaping croissants and Danishes
