Role Summary
The Event Manager will be responsible for further developing our events business by creating and establishing standardized packaging, pricing, practices, contracts, materials, scheduling, and overarching planning processes. This role will be the initial guest contact for intake, with ownership and accountability for the financial, administrative, and planning foundation of every event, ensuring each one is profitable, well-scoped, and operationally sound before it ever reaches the floor. 

Reporting directly to the Owner, this role focuses on the business health of events and works in direct daily coordination with the Event Experience Manager, who owns the client relationship and overall event experience. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop and maintain standardized event packages, pricing models, and margin targets that support profitability and scalability 
  • Own initial client intake, qualification, and scoping to ensure events are appropriately priced, sized, and aligned with operational capacity and business targets 
  • Lead event sales conversations through proposal, contracting, and confirmation, with clear scope definition and financial accountability 
  • Create and manage event contracts, pricing structures, payment schedules, deposits, invoicing, and final financial reconciliation 
  • Ensure all required client and vendor insurance certificates, permits, and compliance documentation are obtained, reviewed, and on file prior to event execution 
  • Establish and document event practices, SOPs, templates, and client-facing materials that ensure consistency and operational clarity 
  • Own capacity planning, scheduling, and high-level staffing plans in coordination with operations and leadership 
  • Forecast event revenue, labor, and margins; maintain accurate event data, reporting, and projections 
  • Ensure clean, complete handoff of all event details to the Event Experience Manager, with clear expectations and documentation 
  • Partner closely with the Event Experience Manager to align on event vision, constraints, and execution readiness 
  • Continuously evaluate and improve event systems, processes, and efficiencies as the business grows 
  • Identify, develop, and maintain strategic partnerships that support event growth, efficiency, and profitability 
  • Build and manage preferred vendor relationships, including pricing alignment, service expectations, and coordination standards 
  • Support leadership with insights on event performance, scalability, and business development opportunities 
Experience & Skills 

  • 5+ years in event/banquet sales, hospitality operations, and/or venue management
  • Demonstrated ownership of event pricing development, contracts, and proposals 
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience building pricing models, managing margins, forecasting revenue, and strategic planning at a high level
  • Proven ability to design, document, and maintain systems, SOPs, templates, and scalable processes 
  • Experience working with event management systems; Tripleseat experience strongly preferred 
  • Comfort leading client intake and sales conversations while holding clear boundaries around scope, pricing, and feasibility
  • Highly organized planner with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events at varying stages simultaneously
  • Confident cross-functional communicator, able to coordinate effectively with owner, operations, culinary, bar, and administrative teams
  • Experienced with event-related compliance and risk requirements and business impact 
  • Calm, analytical problem-solver 
Additional Details 
 
This role is responsible for driving event revenue growth, with variable compensation tied to defined business objectives. Events are produced within a fully operational restaurant environment and require close coordination with restaurant leadership and shared staffing resources. 

Work hours will vary based on event volume and business needs. During the initial build phase, the role is expected to be full-time to support the development of documentation, systems, and standardized processes required for scalable growth. 
Compensation: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour
