- Cook dishes accurately and efficiently, ensuring consistency, quality, and proper temperatures
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
- Maintain proper sanitation and cleanliness of work surfaces, serving areas, and storage containers to ensure safe food-handling practices
- Monitor ingredient freshness, rotate stock, and track inventory to maintain quality standards
- Respond to guest feedback with professionalism and urgency
- Complete opening, side work, and closing duties to ensure the kitchen is organized and ready for service
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous experience as a restaurant cook in a high-volume kitchen preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, or pull heavy objects, including overhead lifting
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
- ServeSafe or California Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume kitchen
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper kitchen techniques
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Friendly, professional, and collaborative demeanor
- Fast-paced, team-oriented restaurant and bar environment
