Job Title: Jack's Abby Beer Hall Dishwasher
Status: Part Time 
Reports to: Kitchen Manager
Salary: $18/hour

JOB DESCRIPTION & EXPECTATIONS 

Jack's Abby Beer Hall is a lively and welcoming space where we celebrate great beer, delicious food, and community. As our Dishwasher, you play a vital role in keeping our taproom running smoothly and our guests safe and satisfied. You are responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and dish areas, helping ensure that our team has what they need to deliver exceptional hospitality. Your attention to detail, work ethic, and commitment to a clean, organized environment support our mission of honoring tradition and inspired innovation! 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Dishwashing & Cleaning
  • Wash, sanitize, and store all dishes, utensils, and glassware.
  • Maintain a clean, organized dish area throughout the shift.
  • Operate dish machines safely and report any issues.
Kitchen & Taproom Support
  • Restock clean plates, glassware, and utensils for FOH and BOH teams.
  • Assist with basic kitchen organization and cleanliness tasks.
  • Remove trash, break down boxes, and support daily cleaning routines.
Health & Safety
  • Follow all sanitation and food safety standards.
  • Maintain a safe, clutter-free work environment.
  • Complete assigned opening or closing cleaning duties.
JOB REQUIREMENTS 
Qualifications:

  • Strong work ethic and ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions consistently.
  • Works well with others and communicates clearly with the tea
  • Basic understanding of cleanliness and sanitation (or willingness to learn).
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and Mondays is a requirement.
  • Prior dishwashing or kitchen experience helpful but not required.
