Who We're Looking For
Batbox is seeking a Dallas-based Installations Manager to build and manage our baseball simulator installation team and processes. This person will own the end-to-end model for deploying Batbox baseball simulators across sports bars, entertainment venues, and partner locations -  from site readiness to install playbooks to quality control all while adhering to budgets and timelines.

If you’ve led multi-site installations that involve multi-day hardware and software, managed field teams + contractors, and love building repeatable processes that scale fast, this opportunity is for you. This role is ideal for someone who has operated in a similar role for a mid-sized AV company (50-100+ employees) or similar - overseeing the end-to-end operations of hardware and software installations across multiple client sites, while leading a team.

This role is not a fit for:

  • Individuals whose experience has been limited to a single-discipline installation environment (e.g., software-only deployments or hardware-only installations)
  • Backgrounds focused exclusively on areas such as HVAC, flooring, or other trade-specific installations
  • Experience centered solely on IT/communications infrastructure (e.g., network equipment or internet installations)

Your Impact
  • Build and scale Batbox’s simulator installation engine, designing clear repeatable workflows and playbooks for site assessments, hardware logistics, on-site assembly, technical testing, and crew coordination to support rapid expansion and consistent installs

  • Lead national installation rollouts and deployments of Batbox simulator hardware and supporting infrastructure (cage, kiosks, displays, etc.) across sports bars, entertainment venues, and partner locations.

  • Develop playbooks for site readiness, installation scheduling, and cross-functional handoffs. Translate installation feedback into product, tech, and playbook improvements.

  • Build, implement and follow health and safety standards for installation crews and warehouse operations, conducting routine checks and escalating risks or incidents as needed.

  •  Partner closely with product, tech, and client success and client support teams regarding installation and product feedback to contribute to improvements to the product, tech, or installation processes.

  • Manage installation-related expenses within an approved budget; track costs and flag variances or efficiency opportunities.

  •  Manage the installations team and coordinate with third-party contractors , ensuring work quality, adherence to standards and reliable execution across all locations

  • Create and deliver installer training programs to ensure consistent execution and alignment with Batbox’s brand and operational standards.
Experience
  • 5 - 10+ years operations leadership in managing installations. For example, AV integration, interactive display technology, or a tech-forward experiential or hardware-enabled brand.

  • Experience supporting or managing installation operations for complex systems that combine hardware, software, and user interaction

  • Proven ability to manage cross-functionally across operations, supply chain, installation teams, client success, and product

  • Experience managing or coordinating field installation teams and third-party contractors across multiple U.S. regions

  • Familiar with tools like HubSpot (CRM), Monday.com (PM), and inventory or fulfillment systems

  • Hands-on operator who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable owning day-today execution

  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and contributing to the development and refinement of processes, playbooks and install standards as we scale

  • Holds a high bar for safety, install quality, reliability, and repeatability

  • Clear and effective communicator with both front-line teams and cross-functional partners

  • You’re open to traveling around 50% of the time across the U.S.

  • Physical Requirements / Work Environment: This role requires the ability to safely lift and carry 50+ lbs, use hand and power tools for extended periods, and work in active installation environments. Work involves frequent standing, bending, squatting, and climbing, including regularly ascending/descending ladders up to 12 feet. The role also involves exposure to noise typical of installation sites.
Compensation: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
