Join Layne’s Chicken Fingers, the Texas-born chicken finger restaurant since 1994! We’re growing fast and looking for an Assistant General Manager to help lead one of our locations and support the General Manager in creating an amazing team and guest experience.
About the Role
As an Assistant GM, you’ll be the right hand to the General Manager—helping oversee daily operations, train and develop team members, and ensure every guest leaves happy. You’ll thrive in a fun, fast-paced culture that takes food seriously—but not ourselves.
Responsibilities
- Support the GM in managing restaurant operations, staffing, and scheduling
- Lead by example and inspire the team with a positive attitude
- Assist with hiring, training, and developing team members
- Monitor inventory, food quality, and cleanliness
- Help create schedules that meet labor targets and business needs
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards
Qualifications
- 2+ years of restaurant management experience (fast food or drive-thru preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and POS systems
- ServSafe certification a plus
