Position Summary:
As a Member of the Blake’s Lotaburger Facilities team, the HVAC/Equipment Repair Technician will provide a variety of heating, cooling, ventilation services, general repairs, plumbing repairs, and restaurant equipment services. This position will work with commercial HVAC and equipment systems, heat pumps, two speed units, low voltage wiring, grills, fryers, shake machines, other equipment, and handle general repairs such as fixing walls, tiles, resealing, ceiling tiles and other general work. The HVAC/Equipment technician must be a self-starter and have great customer service and communication skills.
Essential Functions:
· Diagnose problems and failures in HVAC units and major and minor restaurant equipment
· Fabricate equipment for the purpose of meeting specialty needs for the store
· Follows all company policies
· Braze or solder tubing and lines
· Replace compressors, condensers, valves, and coils
· Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all HVAC equipment.
· General repairs requiring experience with voltage
· Fabricates equipment for the purpose of meeting specialty needs for the store
· Completed work orders for purpose of providing information for making decisions to stores
· Follows all safety requirements of company SOP’s
· Respond to emergency situations during or after hours for the purpose of resolving concerns at store locations
· Ability to work on roof as required
Qualifications/Requirements (Education/Training/Experience/Abilities):

· Must Be licensed Journeyman HVAC Tech
· Must be professional and Positive attitude with customer service skills
· Must be able to work 40 hours a week and on call as needed for emergency repairs outside of normal hours
· Must be able to work on a ladder
· Must have problem-solving abilities
· Must be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
· Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbally, with team members and leadership
· Must be able to collaborate cross-departmentally and respond well to feedback
· Must be organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining quality standards
Essential Physical/Emotional Requirements:
· Must be able to stand, sit, climb, bend, stoop for extended periods of time, and move/lift up to 50lbs unassisted
· Must be able to use hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms
· Must have specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
· Must be able to talk and hear with ability to handle difficult and/or sensitive situations using tactful, appropriate, and effective communication
