- Ensure proper holding, temperatures, sanitation, and TCHPs for the Department of Health.
- Ensure recipes and execution consistency of Drift standards for both food and beverages.
- Manage ordering, inventory, product organization, and ensure deliveries are put away correctly for compliance.
- Oversee prep list and ensure all menu items are available and correctly prepared.
- Oversee cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen.
- Ensure a smooth service flow and timely delivery of both food and beverages
- Professional and hospitable guest engagement, great customer service and work to resolve any guest issues.
- Monitor guest wait times and overall guest experience during shifts.
- Run successful shifts with proper pacing, preparation, and positioning of staff.
- Make real-time coverage decisions to monitor labor as well as service performance.
- Manage callouts, attendance issues, and shift-level accountability.
- Execute training and onboarding using existing materials.
- Support Lead Cook and Lead Barista in their training sessions with teams.
- Coach and provide corrective feedback to staff in real time.
- Escalate repeated or serious issues to the GM and support GM in performance conversations.
- Full understanding of all kitchen equipment, oversee their maintenance, and troubleshoot with urgency.
- Troubleshoot internet, POS, and Sonos connectivity issues to protect service.
- Dial in espresso machine, diagnose coffee issues, and communicate issues to GM.
- Maintain a clean and organized facility and parking lot, including all guest and staff areas.
- Identify and respond to facility or maintenance issues to protect service.
- Follow manager code of conduct and maintain professionalism in all communications.
- Clear and consistent communication with GM and report any HR related issues.
- Ability to work all stations within both FOH and BOH, and will work in station multiple days of the week.
- Act as MOD when the GM is not present, and uphold all policies and procedures.
- Any manager responsibilities not attributed to your direct role require attention on GM’s days off.
- Partner with GM to set clear weekly focus points and execute within a timely manner.
