Job Title: Office Clerk
Location: Ocean City, MD
Job Type: Part-Time 
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Personnel/Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage daily administrative tasks, with a primary focus on processing and entering invoices, maintaining accurate company databases, and handling basic cash management operations. 
 
Key Responsibilities
Cash Management
  • Oversee petty cash funds, ensuring accurate logs and secure storage.
  • Count, reconcile, and prepare daily cash deposits.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and accuracy in all financial transactions. 
Invoicing & Accounting Support
  • Process and input accurate invoices.
  • Verify discrepancies and resolve billing issues.
  • Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) tracking. 
Data Input & Office Administration
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, and vendors.
  • Answer and route phone calls, respond to emails, and manage general office correspondence.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting is a plus.
  • Proven experience in safe cash handling and reconciliation procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with invoice entry and cash reconciliation.
  • Fast, accurate data entry skills and proficiency with MS Office (specifically Excel).
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) is a strong plus.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and numerical skills. 
  • Superior attention to detail, high degree of accuracy, and strong organizational skills.
