Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Sauté Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and executing dishes that require sautéing, ensuring top-quality flavors and presentation. This role requires strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook dishes using sauté techniques, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Manage the sauté station, including ingredient preparation, cooking, and plating.
  • Monitor cooking temperatures and times to ensure all food is prepared correctly.
  • Follow restaurant recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sauté station and kitchen.
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met at all times.
  • Restock ingredients and prep as needed to maintain a smooth workflow.
  • Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
  • Assist in other cooking and kitchen tasks as required by the head chef or kitchen manager.
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a Sauté Cook, Line Cook, or similar role preferred.
  • Proficiency in sautéing techniques and cooking methods.
  • Strong knife skills and understanding of ingredient preparation.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
  • Knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation standards.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to [X] lbs.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
